Delivery by lorry with a tail-lift. Production takes 4 to 6 weeks, plus about a week. Two adults assemble in two days; our crew from 1 390 €.

Windy conditions

The sea wind blows hard here, so a sheltered corner is best. The barrel shape resists wind better than a box.

Stove and flue should be installed according to the instructions and local rules.

Safe flue and stove placement

Because winds can be strong, the stove and flue are installed with extra care. Follow the manual closely, keep combustible material away and inspect the chimney before every winter. If you are unsure, our team can talk you through the clearances.

The first winter

Before your first winter, inspect the exterior and re-coat if needed. Clear snow from the roof if it builds up, and keep the vents free of ice.

In January, the cabin takes a little longer to warm, so start early.
